I have been going to Wheelworks for the better part of two decades and they just get it done. Steve is always super helpful, and at this point I buy all my tires here. I always add the road hazard protection, and it has paid for itself. It covers flats and wheel damage, and when I had bad sidewall damage they prorated the cost of new tires. That is a real benefit, not a line item. They have also handled work beyond basic tires for me. Custom wheels, swapping lug nuts over to locking ones, all done right. What I appreciate most is the care. They package up my old wheels properly and load them without damaging or dirtying the inside of my car. One tip. Get there EARLY. It gets busy and there are not a lot of people working the desks, so be patient. I have watched customers get frustrated with the wait, but flats and tire work do not stop coming in. That is the nature of the business. No nonsense, great work every time. Good enough that it made me want to leave a review.

Bill, Michael, and the entire staff at Wheel Works were nothing short of stellar. Their customer service is, without a doubt, some of the best I’ve ever experienced. We were visiting from out of town when, unfortunately, we picked up a nail in our tire. Being in a new city and not knowing which shops you can trust can be a daunting experience—you always worry about being taken advantage of when you’re unfamiliar with the area. That was absolutely not the case at Wheel Works. We were incredibly fortunate to find this place. Even though we arrived right around closing time, Bill welcomed us with his warm, outgoing personality and went out of his way to squeeze us in. Despite it being the end of a long day, he was still energetic, joking around, and genuinely made us feel comfortable and taken care of. They repaired our tire quickly and professionally, with incredible attention to detail. Then, when we went to pay, Michael completely waived the charge and told us it was on the house. Honestly, you don’t come across people or businesses like this very often anymore. Wheel Works is truly a gem. If you need tires repaired, replaced, or any type of automotive work, I highly recommend

My experience with Wheel works on Franklin Street in San Francisco has been very positive which is why I keep going back. Steve and Michael were especially wonderful to work with. Very communicative, letting me know via email and text about my vehicle. I appreciate personable service, especially from people in the service industry. The entire front desk has always been very professional and accommodating. I will continue using Wheel Works because I know the service I’m going to receive and my vehicles are always very well taken care of. They ask me if I need anything else like windshield wipers, or oil change, which often I forget. So I am very thankful that they remind me so I don’t miss out on getting maintenance when I need it. I highly recommend Wheel works on Franklin Street.

Amazing service from Michael and the mechanic who happens to be a very nice Asian man! This is my second time here at this location on different wheels in my Mazda 3 and only supreme service each time!! The mechanic showed me where the nails were and Mike helped me get the best options for my budget!! I was in and out!!! I also got their ten min after they opened! Now it’s driving great!!

Jon, Steve and Bill took excellent care of me to get the best deal and best tires for my Subaru Forester. Anytime I called or dealt with them in person, they went above and beyond and answered all my questions thoughtfully, thoroughly, and with education. My family has been going to Wheel Works for generations so I trust them 110%! Thank you!!
